:: 18 Strings ::
I found out this week that my re-working of the 90s classic '18 Strings' by Tinman has been chosen to make up part of an anniversary re-release, with proceeds going to charity. I am super--thrilled! :-)
The producer behind the Tinman pseudonym is Paul Dakeyne, who I've admired and followed since I began my musical journey! Paul, along with other DMC producers of the time, were a great influence on me as I studied their techniques and enjoyed their work across the groundbreaking productions that flew out of the studio doors at the DMC building in Slough. To be connected to such a master via this production is thrilling and I'm really looking forward to having Paul as my guest on my radio show in a few weeks time. We'll talk about the anniversary of the Tinman club classic and better still we'll delve into Paul's incredible back catalogue of epic productions. Can't wait!
