It seems to have taken forever to get to Friday again! At last we're here and I can share the love of house and spin some quality new tunes across the FIRE airwaves and the internet stream. Quite a progressive vibe for tonight's show, plus a great special guest and a competition to win Royksopp's new album thrown in for good measure.

Toolroom Knights is currently one of the best clubbing sessions available - but not currently in Bournemouth!? The label was created by top DJ/Producer Mark Knight and accompanied by his brilliant team of tune champions they have been delivering some epic releases and terrific compilations for a while now. It's been a few months since we last caught up with Toolroom gang, so it's great to be chatting with their Toolroom Knights Event Manager and DJ, Tania von Pear. Caught up right in the middle of the Miami Winter Music Conference, Tania has delivered a guest mix for us and will be on the phone later to share her tune tips and Toolroom tidbits!

Tonight is my last Pure Fire show on a Tuesday night. After a small break I'll be back to do my thing each and every Friday night for the 'big one', to really smash up the FIRE airwaves with quality house, electro, beats, bleeps, bootlegs and special guests. A great opportunity to share the tunes and the love of house and the love of beats.

For tonight's last show I've got the usual stack of upfront material and hot tunes for you to digest. I'll also be catching up with young gun, James Herkes, who is taking over the Tuesday night slot and is going to be absolutely fantastic! Trust me.

My parting gift is airing one of the special Mixbuster creations again and putting it up for download. This mix is a personal fave out of the pile made for FIRE and always got a good response, so I really hope it hits the spot again tonight.

A jam-packed show where I know already (at 8:45pm) that I'm not going to get all the tunes in tonight. Never mind, as I'm back on Friday night to finish off proceedings and kick off the weekend.
